The translator, Mr. Kakuichi Kato (72), has been working as a simultaneous interpreter for Rawat for half a century since meeting him while studying at Kyoto University. He began preparing to translate this book in 2023 and worked intensively for three months from March 2024.

The Japanese version of this book will feature approximately 60 illustrations, a first for a translated book. The illustrator is Ms. Akiko Kunisu, who also illustrated "Breath." The universal touch illustrations, which Rawat said "I like these illustrations," are scattered throughout the 400 pages.
The binding exudes a Japanese atmosphere through the quality of the paper and the bookmark string. Thanks to the skill of our bookbinders, it has been beautifully bound.
The paper used for the box containing the Japanese version of "Hear Yourself" is Echizen washi paper (Fukui Prefecture), a traditional craft with a history of 1,500 years. The artisans of a long-established Kyoto box maker and Bunya selected beautiful washi paper featuring cherry blossom and plum blossom patterns. Each box is a masterpiece carefully crafted by the artisans. It is a paper box that you can use for a long time.

《10,000 Kifubon Project》
One day, Bunya received an envelope containing money to buy ten of Mr. Rawat’s books. The letter explained, “I was moved by reading Mr. Rawat's book. I will entrust this money to you, so please give it to the children as a gift on my behalf.” It was this letter that launched The Kifubon Project, which uses donations, entrusted to Bunya, to send Rawat's books to children across the country and around the world. As of February 1st, 2024 Prem Rawat Japan Secretariat (Bunya) has already given out four of Prem's books, totaling 14,261 pieces, to such places as orphanages, children's hospitals, and prisons.
