The Binichijyo philosophy expressed in Hokusai’s pair of paintings transcends the duality of yin and yang and invites us into a world of true love, a way of being that embraces both sides, “Welcoming the duality and celebrating this moment as the very best.”It is a celebration of life itself, of this very moment, from the depths of the heart.
We wish to share with the world: the joy of living true to the soul, the joy of loving oneself, and the joy of wholeheartedly pursuing what you love.

"Binichijyo", originating from Japan, as the cornerstone of the world
Binichijyo is the state of living in the present and radiating your true soul.
Binichijyo refers to daily life lived in deep joy, with people recognising themselves as part of the greater cosmos, holding reverence and gratitude for all things. In this way, each person is free to follow what they love fully, with a joyful heart.
This way of being has roots in Japan’s ancient spiritual wisdom, stretching back not only to the peaceful 16,000-year-long Jōmon period, but even further into prehistory. At its core is a reverence and gratitude for the natural order of all things.
The universe is filled with a celebratory vibration. And among its many worlds, Earth is one of the most blissful. Here, life and soul exist in harmony, singing together the hymn of love and celebration. We don’t need specific leaders or organisations. What we need is a gentle, flexible way of being connected.
This philosophy of Binichijyo：The Universal Beauty Consciousness was rediscovered in the 1990s in the small Japanese town of Obuse as a way to cherish and honour everyday life.

This masterpiece is Hokusai’s gift to us, a visual expression of the oneness and celebratory joy we call Binichijyo: The Universal Beauty Consciousness.
